Alfred’s Premiere Piano Course (Ages 6 - 12)
Beautifully presented and intelligently paced, the Lesson Books combine unusually attractive music and lyrics. The books feature note reading, rhythm reading, sight-reading and technical workouts. Each piece on the CD was recorded at a performance tempo and a slower practice tempo.
Alfred’s Basic Chord Approach (Ages 10-15)
This series introduces chords more quickly than in the elementary method series. It is perfect for students age 10 and up whose hands are strong enough to play 3-note chords. By combining intervallic reading with chord playing, students are able to enjoy playing fuller and more interesting songs and melodies.
Alfred’s Basic All-In-One Course (Ages 16 - Adult)
The All-in-One Adult Course is designed for adult beginners looking for a comprehensive piano course that includes lesson, theory, technic and popular repertoire in one convenient, all-in-one format. The course is now available for Levels 1, 2 and 3.
Pupils will develop agility and flexibility of the hands to keep pace with their musical comprehension. At the completion of this course, students will have learned to play some of the great masterworks of piano literature and will have gained a thorough understanding of the basic concept of music. General MIDI disks provide a valuable opportunity to play along with professional-sounding accompaniments of every piece from all three books.
